Mark O'Neil-Johnson, VP of Analytical Chemistry, is an invited speaker at the annual meeting for the Phytochemical Society of North America (PSNA), to be held in Hawaii from December 10-14. This meeting will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Phytochemical Society of North America.

Sequoia Sciences Invited to Present at the 2012 Zing Conference on Natural Products

Mark O'Neil-Johnson, VP of Analytical Chemistry, will participate in this international conference on Natural Product Synthesis and Biosynthesis. The conference will be held in Puerto Calero, Lanzarote, Spain, February 10-13, 2012. This Zing Chemistry Conference will focus on new developments in the field of natural products research.

Mark O'Neil-Johnson, VP of Analytical Chemistry, participated in this international conference on Chemistry, Environment and Society that was held at the Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel and Resort, Pattaya, Thailand, May 4-7, 2011.

Sequoia Sciences Presented at the 52nd Annual Meeting of the American Society of Pharmacognosy (ASP)

Mark O'Neil-Johnson, VP of Analytical Chemistry, was an invited speaker at this annual conference devoted to natural products chemistry. The 2011 ASP conference was held in San Diego, CA, July 31- August 4, 2011. Mark and Bruker Biospin conducted a workshop on modern NMR methods prior to the conference. This workshop gave attendees practical skills to aid in obtaining high quality NMR spectra on small quantities of compounds isolated from natural product sources. The workshop highlighted the benefits of using the new MicroCryoProbe in natural products drug discovery.

Sequoia Sciences Presented at the 3rd International Conference on Drug Discovery and Therapy

Mark O'Neil-Johnson, VP of Analytical Chemistry, gave two presentations at the 3rd International Conference on Drug Discovery and Therapy in Dubai, UAE, on February 7-10, 2011. The conference focused on drug discovery, drug therapy and translational medicine. Mark was an invited speaker and the title of his first presentation was "New Chemical Scaffold Starting Points for Targeting Inflammation: Preferred, Novel and Neglected Scaffolds in a Drug Discovery Program." Sequoia Sciences Presented at The Royal Pharmaceutical Society Meeting in London

Sequoia participated in a conference hosted by The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain in partnership with the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences on "The Role of Natural Products in Drug Discovery and Development in the New Millennium" on Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at the Novotel, Waterloo, London, England.
